Site 41 protesters remanded until Dec. 3

Here’s the story, from Douglas Glynn of the Barrie Examiner:

“The 17 people arrested during the lengthy blockade of dump Site 41 were remanded to Dec. 3 when they appeared in Midland court today.

The majority of the accused are charged with the criminal code offence of mischief to property. Peter Rosenthal, lawyer for most of the accused, said the remands were sought because the Crown had not provided full disclosure details to some of the accused….”
