Featured Speakers for Saturday’s Program:
Ted Beals, M.S., M.D. – He is a retired pathologist with a special interest in the relationship of raw milk to the specific facts surrounding its safety.
Sally Fallon Morell, M.A. – Author of the best-selling cookbook, Nourishing Traditions and President of the Weston A. Price Foundation.
David Gumpert – Author, journalist and reporter, he writes the on-line journal, The Complete Patient. His most recent book is The Raw Milk Revolution.
Sylvia Onusic, Ph.D. – A nutritionist and writer/journalist in the areas of traditional and whole foods and Public Health with a particular knowledge of the European perspective.
Michael Schmidt – Trained in biodynamic farming in Germany, he moved to his farm in Canada in 1983 where he won a monumental court decision in 2009 for raw milk access.
Cate Shanahan, M.D. – Author of the books Deep Nutrition and Food Rules, she is a board certified family physician trained in biochemistry and genetics.
Alan Watson – Author of two books, 21 Days to a Healthy Heart and 2009’s Cereal Killer about the unintended consequences of the typically recommended low fat diet.

EARLY BIRD registration prices have been EXTENDED through Friday, April 22. After this date, all prices will rise 15%, both online and for tickets purchased the day of the symposium.
For the purpose of pricing, those aged 14 and above are considered as “adults”. Post-secondary students may qualify for the Special Student rates.
Proceeds from the Fundraiser Reception and Dinner will benefit the Farm-to-Consumer Foundation and Minnesota’sFoundation for Consumer Free Choice.

- $75 for 1 student fundraiser reception and dinner ticket (valid post-secondary ID must be presented at the door)

About Your Payments –
Because the Farm-to-Consumer Foundation, which is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, is providing goods or services in exchange for all or part of your payment, the Internal Revenue Code requires us to notify you that your payment is deductible as a charitable contribution only to the extent it exceeds the fair market value of the goods and services you receive in exchange for your payment. The fair market value of the items you have purchased is:
Symposium Registration (before April 22, 2011): $40 for each registration.
Symposium Registration (after April 22, 2011): $46 for each registration.
Symposium Lunch: $15 for each meal.
Fundraiser Reception and Dinner: $29.95 paid for each ticket.
Registrants, exhibitors, and sponsors may be able to deduct the amounts paid with respect to any of the events listed above as a business expense if they are ordinary and necessary expenses incurred in the course of conducting a trade or business. In that case, the amount deductible is not reduced by the value of the goods and services received. However, the amount deductible for the meals is limited to 50% of the amount paid.
