Michael Schmidt’s countdown: “eight days until the raw milk appeal ruling”

Setting the stage for 2012...

It is worthwhile to sometimes look at the symbolic values of numbers when we are confronted with a certain reality. Indeed we have may be eight days left until judge Tetley might come out with his view if in fact Kowarsky erred in his judgement about the right of people to opt out of the ” protection of the state”.

The question arises why do we have to defend on behalf of Kowarsky his ruling. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to let Kowarsky defend his position???????

Here we are second-guessing his reasoning and here we are justifying his reasoning.

The legal system will ultimately fail unless we become more acquainted with the deep spiritual understanding of the world.

Here is some background on the number eight.

Eight days left.

Symbolism of eight

Number of the perfection, the infinity. In mathematics the symbol of the infinity is represented by a 8 laid down.

Symbol of the cosmic Christ.

Number figuring the immutable eternity or the self-destruction. It represents also the final point of the manifestation.

In China, the 8 expresses the totality of the universe.

Number of the balance and of the cosmic order, according to the Egyptians.

Number expressing the matter, it is also the symbol of the incarnation in the matter which becomes itself creative and autonomous, governing its own laws.

The number eight corresponds to the New Testament, according to Ambroise.

It is the symbol of the new Life, the final Resurrection and the anticipated Resurrection that is the baptism.

According to Clement of Alexandria, the Christ places under the sign of 8 the one he made to be born again.

Represent the totality and the coherence of the creation in evolution. In China, it expresses the totality of the universe.

Represent the earth, not in its surface but in its volume, since 8 is the first cubic number.

The Pythagoreans have made the number 8 the symbol of the love and the friendship, the prudence and the thinking and they have called it the Great “Tetrachtys”.

In Babylon, in Egypt and in Arabia, it was the number of the duplication devoted to the sun, from where the solar disc is decorated of a cross with eight arms.

The number 8 means the multiplicity, for the Japanese.

A favorable number, associated to the prosperity.

It is the number of the restful day, after the 7th day of the creation.

“The legal system will ultimately fail unless we become more acquainted with the deep spiritual understanding of the world”.

Who said the legal system was about justice in the first place ? The legal system is doing perfectly well what it was designed to do : Parasitically feed of its hosts – win or lose, for better or for worse . When one of the hosts has no more blood (read: time, energy and money ) to give the decision is finalized.
And since one of the hosts (read : The Government) is itself a PARASITE with a ,comparatively speaking , infinite supply of resources, the decision is mostly decided.
The only hope is a two-track approach were the “court of public opinion” is developed during the long wait time between court hearings and appeals.
This is no different than farming . You have to sew the right seeds (read ” strategy ) and you have to work at it untiringly ,24 hours per day, for years and years. Since this too requires enormous amounts of “resources” which coincidentally have been used up in a futile court process one has to either go out full-time with a begging bowl or else go severely into debt .

So in the final analysis I agree with you that the only reason, solution and hope is spiritual.
As it makes no sense in terms of any other criteria we can measure by i.e personal health and wealth, profit or loss .

Our Hopes & Prayers are with everyone involved who are willing to take a stand against injustice. Freedom of Choice has always been a right that this Country has been founded on. It seems that Corporations rule Government Authorities into making decisions that are Not in the people’s best interest. Example; Importing food from China, or overlooking Sloppy Doctors that work in Hospitals, causing unnecessary disease spread. It seems that Healthy Food or striving for a Healthier Quality of Life is Not at all important anymore to them, Big Business & Big Money is.
