11.11.11 and the founding of the North American raw milk alliance at WAPF’s Wise Traditions conference in Dallas

This just in from Michael Schmidt:

Michael Schmidt and Mark McAfee with two unidentified ladies from the conference.

Considering the above date, which is one of those interesting  dates in history which deserve attention, the forming of the North American Raw Milk Alliance is rather significant in it’s intend.

Mark McAffee and Michael Schmidt formalized their longstanding co-operation by officially joining forces. Cow Share Canada Inc. and The Raw Milk Institute will act jointly and separately to address responsibly the growing demand for raw milk across North America.

It is self-explanatory that the nature of the Alliance is not marketing and promotion to further stimulate the raw milk market rather it focuses on the much debated issues of scientific research on the health benefits attributed to raw milk and the responsible food safety aspect in regards to the production of raw milk.

The Alliances intend and mandate is to break down on behalf of farmers and consumers the confrontational barriers which are currently preventing a constructive dialogue with regulators and legislators.

“Dialogue instead of confrontation” is one of the first priorities of the Alliance in order to prevent further raids and expensive court proceedings for farmers says Michael Schmidt

The Alliance is part of the current Food Rights Movement trying to take back in a responsible way our fundamental right to consume food of our choice without restricting others in their choice of food.

According to Mark McAffee the creation of production guidelines and common food safety standards are one of our first priorities. The development of on site farm safety and Risk Analysis Management Programs will be addressing the regional and individual differences of every farm across North America.

Education, training and accreditation of farms will form part of the new “Voluntary Raw Milk Quality Certificate” to identify for the consumer where to obtain quality raw milk for “human consumption”.

Participation is not mandatory but will be encouraged in order to establish credibility and a growing database of scientific and empirical evidence in support of the inherently safe nature of raw milk and the health benefits at large.

Both Michael and Mark have been adamant about the much needed political dialogue with legislators and the urgent re-education of regulators in order to bring some sanity into the debate.

The following reflection on the significance of numbers as mentioned above will highlight exactly why the timing of this new initiative is right and crucial.

Enjoy reading it.

Why 11-11-11 might matter in this particular case.

There are 3 double-digit numbers that, while they are rooted in the single-digit numbers, require special emphasis and attention.  These are 11, 22, and 33.

They are called Master numbers because they possess more potential than other numbers.  They are highly charged, difficult to handle, and require time, maturity, and great effort to integrate into one’s personality.

The 11 is the most intuitive of all numbers.  It represents illumination; a channel to the subconscious; insight without rational thought; and sensitivity, nervous energy, shyness, and impracticality.  It is a dreamer.  The 11 has all the aspects of the 2, enhanced and charged with charisma, leadership, and inspiration.  It is a number with inborn duality, which creates dynamism, inner conflict, and other catalyses with its mere presence.  It is a number that, when not focused on some goal beyond itself, can be turned inward to create fears and phobias.  The 11 walks the edge between greatness and self-destruction.  Its potential for growth, stability, and personal power lies in its acceptance of intuitive understanding, and of spiritual truths.  For the 11, such peace is not found so much in logic, but in faith.  It is the psychic’s number.

The 22 is the most powerful of all numbers.  It is often called the Master Builder.  The 22 can turn the most ambitious of dreams into reality.  It is potentially the most successful of all numbers.  It has many of the inspirational insights of the 11, combined with the practicality and methodical nature of the 4.  It is unlimited, yet disciplined.  It sees the archetype, and brings it down to earth in some material form.  It has big ideas, great plans, idealism, leadership, and enormous self-confidence.  If not practical, the 22s waste their potential.  Like the 11, the 22 can easily shrink from its own ambition, causing difficult interior pressures.  Both the 11 and the 22 experience the pressure-cooker effect very strongly, particularly at an early age.  It must work toward the realization of goals that are larger than personal ambition.  The 22 serves the world in a practical way.

The 33 is the most influential of all numbers.  It is the Master Teacher.  The 33 combines the 11 and the 22 and brings their potential to another level.  When expressed to the fullest, the 33 lacks all personal ambition, and instead focuses its considerable abilities toward the spiritual uplifting of mankind.  What makes the 33 especially impressive, is the high level of sincere devotion.  This is shown in its determination to seek understanding and wisdom before preaching to others.  The 33 in full force is extremely rare.

  1. That is Stacy Pearson to the right of Mark (as we look at the picture). She was Sen Sean Nienow’s Legislative Assistant in MN. He is the sponsor of the Raw MIlk Access bill in MN. She now works for Raw Milk Institute.

  2. The two women pictured from right to left are Stacy Pearson the VP of RawMI and Elaina Luther who is on the Board of Directors

  3. Will they also be pushing A2 cows with the Raw milk? This company I am with only uses A2 organic green fed cows for it’s milk production. This is the link if you want to check it out. I believe in Raw milk and A2 cows!

    • Nathan,
The Raw Milk Institute’s basic mission is to expand access to safe raw milk. Consumers of many states have extremely limited or no legal way to obtain raw milk of any kind. We do not want the discussion of A1 or A2 milk to distract legislators from making a decision to simply allow access to safe raw milk, so we are not making that part of our mission. However, consumer education is part of our mission and therefore, I would expect to cover the virtues of A2 milk in our educational articles, resources and testimonials. But for us, it is enough to try to educate law makers on the need for legal access to raw, we will leave the choice for what type of raw to informed consumers. -Stacy Pearson, Vice President, RAWMI
