West Nile fear mongering and spraying

From Ethan A. Huff, at Natural News:

“(NaturalNews) The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently engaged in a massive fear mongering campaign that would have everyone in America believe that the so-called West Nile virus (WNv) is spreading uncontrollably like wildfire.

Though the CDC admits that only a miniscule percentage of people have even a remote chance of contracting the virus, the agency is still pushing for the mass spraying of cities with toxic pesticides, and actively encouraging people to coat themselves in toxic DEET chemicals to deter mosquitoes. CDC researchers say mothers should stop breast feeding to boost efficacy of vaccines — not from “The Onion”!

From Ethan A. Huff at Natural News.com:

“(NaturalNews) Remember when it was considered crazy talk to suggest that mainstream medicine viewed humanity as being born lacking in pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines, as if these synthetic inputs are necessary miracle nutrients for proper human development? Well, researchers from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently showed that they adhere to this lunatic philosophy, having released a study that recommends women withhold breastfeeding their children in order to boost the “effectiveness” of the rotavirus vaccine.

Ten researchers from the CDC’s National Centers for Immunization and Respiratory Disease (NCIRD) released the ridiculous paper, entitledInhibitory effect of breast milk on infectivity of live oral rotavirus vaccines, which claims the immune-boosting effects of breastmilk are a detriment to the efficacy of vaccines. The paper goes on to say that, rather than remove vaccines so that breastmilk can do its job, women should instead remove the breastmilk to allow vaccines to do their job. Continue reading

FDA’s double standard for regulating: raw milk farmers vs big corporations

From Ethan A. Huff at PrisonPlanet.com

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is getting increasingly bold these days with openly admitting that it works directly for big industry interests rather than public health interests. In a recent report on why the agency did not disclose Taco Bell as being the “Mexican-style” restaurant chain involved in a recent salmonella outbreak, the FDA essentially admitted that it is more concerned with upholding a close-knit relationship with big industry players like Taco Bell than it is with being transparent and telling the truth for the public interest.

Last fall, at least 68 people in ten states were infected with salmonella poisoning from food sold at an undisclosed Mexican-style restaurant chain, according to an FDA announcement. At least 20 of these people became so ill that they had to be admitted to the hospital for treatment, and yet, the entire time, the FDA refused to disclose the name of the chain, which was later uncovered to be Taco Bell. Mobile van to bring fluoride to Florida county that voted to remove it from the municipal water supply

From Ethan A. Huff, on Natural News.com:

Just what we need?

(NaturalNews) Back in October, the Pinellas County, Fla., Commission voted 4 – 3 to stop adding artificial fluoride chemicals to the county’s municipal water supply, which serves roughly 700,000 residents (http://www.naturalnews.com/033801_f…). But now local health officials are suggesting that the county purchase a mobile fluoride van as an alternative, which would drive around town and administer fluoride and other conventional dental services directly to children.

Believe it or not, theSt. Petersburg Timesreports that the Pinellas County Commission will soon vote on whether or not to purchase this mobile fluoride van for $532,339 in taxpayer funds, which is more than twice the $205,000 a year the county has been spending to purchase fluoride chemicals for the water supply. The Commission had asked the county’s Health and Human Services department to come up with a new way to use the $205,000 for other dental purposes, and the mobile fluoride van was their proposal. Green Party initiative could end water fluoridation in Canada — Natural News

An excerpt from the Natural News report by Ethan A. Huff:

“(NaturalNews) The Green Party of Canada recently passed a resolution within its ranks that seeks to end water fluoridation in Canada. The party plans to introduce and support legislation that will outlaw fluoridation in Canada at the federal level, effectively overriding any and all local mandates that say otherwise.

Much of North America’s water is fluoridated, meaning that water utilities add hexafluorosilicic acid, sodium silicofluoride or sodium fluoride to local water supplies. These toxic substances are said to prevent tooth decay, but many medical and dental professionals disagree, citing fluoride’s many harmful effects on the body and teeth. Continue reading
