Green Party initiative could end water fluoridation in Canada — Natural News

“(NaturalNews) The Green Party of Canada recently passed a resolution within its ranks that seeks to end water fluoridation in Canada. The party plans to introduce and support legislation that will outlaw fluoridation in Canada at the federal level, effectively overriding any and all local mandates that say otherwise.

Much of North America’s water is fluoridated, meaning that water utilities add hexafluorosilicic acid, sodium silicofluoride or sodium fluoride to local water supplies. These toxic substances are said to prevent tooth decay, but many medical and dental professionals disagree, citing fluoride’s many harmful effects on the body and teeth. Continue reading

Yesterday, February 20th, 2010, Michael Schmidt was a guest panelist at the Canadian Organic Growers conference in Toronto.

“The conference was great. Percy Schmeiser spoke as well. I was on the closing Panel of the conference. Theme of the last Panel was Change with or without the Government. On my Panel was the first green Minister for Agriculture in Germany Bärbel Höhn. I had a very intense discussion about Agricultural policies here and in Germany.
