You may remember a few months ago when the exclusion of Vaxxed, a documentary film about the issues around vaccination, was excluded from the Tribeca film festival in New York.
Well, as it turns out, that exclusion was maybe the best thing that could have happened to it. The resulting publicity has helped spark interest in the film and its message.
A week ago, last Friday, Vaxxed debuted in Toronto at the Kingsway Theatre, followed by a Q and A session with Dr. Wakefield. There was another Q and A after the screening on Saturday and then the film was set to run until August 4th, which was yesterday.
But now, due to public interest, screenings will be continuing until August 11th. So if you didn’t get down to see it already, there’s still an opportunity to do that.
