BC raw milk pioneer Alice Jongerden will be speaking about raw milk and food freedom this coming Thursday April 18th, 2013 at Banyen Books and Sound, in Vancouver. Free admission.

“Join Alice Jongerden of Home on the Range Organics to gain an understanding of the political challenges she has faced as a local dairy farmer. She is currently challenging the constitutionality of the Regulation 7 Transitional Health Act, which has caused a total prohibition of fresh milk in BC. This regulation has been used by BC officials to deny Alice the right to provide raw milk to her herdshare members and forced her into a costly provincial court battle. The constitutional challenge is scheduled to be heard July 15, 2013….”
