Thanks to Ingrid for passing this on to The Bovine:

Ingrid, thanks for the work you are doing. Please pass on a picture that was taken of us at the largest market in ottawa, the Lansdowne farmers’ market. Lots of “thumbs up” from passer bys and customers.

There are a lot of us Americans behind you Michael! Hang in there, and keep fighting for what is right. May God bless you.

About 80 raw milk supporters were in front the Legislative buildings at Queen’s Park. We had the opportunity to speak to various media about what raw milk is, what the main issues were, how it was that Michael Schmidt was acquitted in January 2010 and found guilty of most of the same charges in Sept. 2011, and we mentioned our personal experiences with raw milk. Many good questions were asked, and we were all enthusiastic about informing, educating and teaching the reporters about the raw milk of 2011 and specifically milk from Glencolton Farms. I think if anything, more people will learn about raw milk.

Most people brought great signs. I’m sure some photos will be posted soon. But there was no sign of Premier McGuinty.

If there is to be another rally, holding it on a Saturday would probably draw far more people.

Most of all, we stressed again and again that all we’re asking is for Premier McGuinty to just sit down and speak with Michael.

It will take many people to speak up to right this wrong. When you add each individual voice, such a George Wright’s, the volume rises from hundreds of people so that the Province can no longer this important issue of food freedom.

And now, written in proper English without missing words and letters:

Homogenization is the process of forcing whole milk through small orifices under very high pressure. This breaks the fat globules into much smaller particles which results in the smaller fat particles in LDL(bad) being able to embed themselves into one’s arteries. Therefore causing build-up of plaque and leads to a heart attack.

This is why I prefer raw, unpasteurized, un-homogenized milk which I was raised on.
