Chilliwack raw milk court decision is reserved until a later date by B.C. judge

“A B.C. Supreme Court judge has reserved her decision on whether the former operator of a Chilliwack raw milk dairy is in contempt of court.

Alice Jongerden appeared in New Westminster Thursday to answer to the civil charge.

Fraser Health has been trying for several years to shut down Jongerden’s Home on the Range Dairy, which distributed raw milk to 365 households

Michael Schmidt has been in B.C. attending the contempt of court trial of Alice Jongerden, former agister of Home on the Range raw dairy in Chilliwack. Michael has since taken over the cowshare farm and renamed it “Our Cows”. He sends these photos and this brief report, from yesterday at the courthouse in New Westminster:

The hearing into the contempt charges of Alice continued without a ruling by the Judge.
